Coir fibre blanket

Loose coir fibre held between light netting and laid flat over seeded ground. Where woven netting is an open grid, a blanket covers the soil completely, shielding seed from rain splash and strong sun until it germinates.

Blanket or woven netting?
A blanket gives full cover for even germination on gentle slopes. Woven netting is far stronger and suits steeper slopes and moving water.
What is the netting made of?
Netting is agreed per project. Where wildlife is a concern, ask for natural-fibre netting: plastic netting can entangle animals.
