Vazdor Geosystems supplies natural coir solutions for slopes, banks, channels and shorelines: woven coir geotextiles, coir logs, and an allied range of blankets, wattles and silt fences, made by an experienced manufacturing network in Tamil Nadu and Cherthala, Kerala.

US National Academies, NCHRP| Compare | Coir | Synthetic (plastic) |
|---|---|---|
| Made from | Coconut husk, a farm by-product | Petroleum-based polymers |
| After the job | Breaks down into the soil | Stays in the ground; can shed microplastics |
| Wildlife | Does not persist to trap animals | Netting is a known entanglement risk |
| Seedbed | Absorbs and holds moisture for germination | Holds little water |
| Service life | Temporary, until roots take over | Decades |
Choose honestly: where a slope needs permanent reinforcement, synthetics are the right tool. Where vegetation will take over, coir does the job and leaves nothing behind.
Answer three questions for a starting grade recommendation. Add your area and we will size the rolls for you in the quote.
Recommended for a moderate slope.
A starting recommendation only, to be confirmed against your site's soil, rainfall and flow data. Roll quantities are confirmed in your quote, after we review the site.
The actual number of rolls also depends on the shape of the area. Rolls are laid in strips down the slope and cut to length, so the slope length decides how much is wasted: on a 25 m slope, 25 m rolls fit with almost no offcut, while on a 30 m slope every 50 m roll leaves a 20 m offcut. We will help you choose the roll size that wastes least.

Before we quote, we work through the permutations: each Kerala and Tamil Nadu port, combined with road or rail movement from the factory. Then we quote on the route and shipping terms that keep your total landed cost lowest.
